EUROPEAN BUYING
(Received January 25, 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 24. Considerable European buying was noted on the Stock Exchange bond markets today, forcing prices up sharply for a time, although they receded in late trading on profit-taking. The dollar was up about one to two cents, due to this flow of capital. Commodities were moderately lower.
