Tho Huntingdon will replace the Opawa, leaving Liverpool on December 2 for New Zealand ports. PERSONAL. Mr. J. Stewart has been engaged as fourth engineer on the Wahine. ilr. J. Dalziel has replaced Mr. T. E. Eaton as second officer on the Gale. Jlr. W. S. Collier has been engaged as extra officer on the Walpiata. Captain Rowlands has returned to the command of the Canopus after holiday leave. Mr. W. Hurley is now chief officer. MAUNGANUI'S TRANSHIPMENTS. The Pakeha is due at- Gisborne from Australia about November 22. The Port Gisborne, ,en route from London for Dunedin and Lyttelton, via Suva, left Panama on Saturday. ■ ■ , NANKWA MARU MEETS BAD WEATHER. The Nankwa Maru, en route from Milke, Japan, reported by radio that she was experiencing bad weather, and would not reach Wanganui until this, afternoon.- She will load scrap-iron there for most of this week, after which she will proceed to Napier, Port Chalmers, and Wellington. GOLDEN CLOUD DELAYED. The Golden Cloud will now leave Auckland tonight, arriving in Wellington on Thursday. She will leave at about 4 o'clock that afternoon for Timaru to complete discharge before proceeding to Australia. FOR,THE ISLAND TRADE. It is expected that the Union Company's steamer Waipahi, which was withdrawn from the Island trade last June, will be taking up the running again about the middle of this month. She will replace the Karetu. Up till June the Waipahi had been In the trade since April, 1932, and since withdrawal has been engaged intermittently In coastal service. YOSERIC REPORTS. According to her-wireless report, the motorship Yoseric, with raw sugar from" Java,; will arrive at Auckland tomorrow afteriiopn.
