MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., dealt with cases in the Magistrate's Court today. A fine of 10s was imposed upon Fredpick Arthur Carlyle Kinghan, aged 59, an ex-jockey, for a second statutory offence of drunkenness.
Frederick Irvine was remanded until November 6 on a charge of stowing away on the Mannganui at Sydney. Senior-Ser-geant Dempsey said that the defendant had given false information to the Collector of Customs, and unless he could establish that he was a native of New Zealand an order would be sought for bis deportation.
