The rise in tho price of wool, if it is maintained throughout tho present season, will give a return to wool growers of Queensland -of £.3,000,000 more than they received the preceding season. Approximately 14fi,000 bales, or about o,nc-third of the current season's clip, have been sold* The clip averaged slightly more than £20 a bale, compared with £12 13s last season.
