BRITISH SAILORS' SOCIETY
A conceit was given last evening at the rooms of the British Sailors' Society by Mr. Claude Sander's pupils, assisted by Mrs. L. Rosenthal. There was a full house, and the programme was most entertaining. Items were given by Mrs. Rosenthal, Misses Dell Sandlants,' Rosma Smither, Jean O'Connor, Billy Smythe, Margaret Heain, Patricia Dee, Laurie Hearn, June Hayes. Billy AVatters, Irene Smytho, Tlielma Walters, C()lleen Dee, Minnie O'Connor, and Noeliue Pickering, the accompanist being Mr. Sander. At the conclusion of the programme a vote of thanks was passed unanimously to Mr. Sander and party, supper was served by the young ladies of the society, and the evening drew to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
