AMATEUR WRESTLING.
A full and varied programme of wrestling by amateurs will be provided at the carnival on Monday night at the Town Hall. The proceeds will be devoted to the Smith Family Christmas Cheer Fund. Four bouts by prominent exponents of the sport are on the bill, besides a demonstration of holds by Koolmau, a novelty contest between Stuart (Fire Brigade) and Deacon (Police), and juvenile wrestling by Jenkins's pupils.
