(Special to the "Evening Post.") NELSON, October 27. Following on a request by a deputation to tho City Council from the Nelson Croquet CJiib asking that lawns bo made in the Old Cemetery, a sub-com-mittee has reported to the council recommending that the present children's playground be subdivided to provide three lawns. The engineer is to report on the practicability of the scheme. It was pointed out that at least four lawns were required'in-order to provide for a Dominion tournament. The report was referred to tho committee of the whole council. • ' A shed at tho back of 'premises at Taliuna occupied by Mr. Leaning and owned by Mr. C. R. Bell, was destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. The Tahunanui Fire Brigade effected a good 6avo of an adjoining dwelling. The contents of tho shed, which included two bicycles, were destroyed. '
