ATHLETIC TROPHY

DISABLED SOLDIER'S WORK

In the illustrations page of this issue there is a photograph of a fine trophy which has been presented for annual competition between the Kiwi Amateur Athletic Club. Wellington1, and the Marlborough Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. It is the work of Mr. A. E. Morrison, of Wellington, and. it was made under the aegis of the ' Soldiers' Reestablishment Board. The trophy consists of a solid rimu block base surmounted by a representation of the well-known classical figure of an Olympic discus-thrower. The first competition between the Kiwi and Marlborough clubs was held in Blenheim last season, and was won by the Marlborough representatives.
