OLD ENGLISH FAIR

"GIFT AFTERNOON" HELD

A "gift "afternoon," in aid of the produce stall at the forthcoming Old English Fair at St. Peter's Church, was held in the girls' clubroom, Ghuznee Street, yesterday. An assortment of useful goods was received, also donations of money. A competition was won by Mrs. Tolley, and items were given by Miss Philips, Miss Williams, Miss A. Bain, Miss Joan Haywood; and Mr.- K. Small. Tea was dispensed by the committee, of St. Peter's social guild.
