Good general -competition came from Home, Continental/ and United States buyers, and practically all were sold. Australian best merinos and, fine crossbreds were frequently %d dearer than at last sales; average -sorts were unchanged. New Zealand crossbreds were unchanged. Lambs were %d dearer. Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London agents, dated October 26:—"Sheepskins—par to 5 per cent, advance. Lambs and half-wooled show the greatest advance. Crossbred, coarse, market irregular."
