UNEMPLOYMENT TAX

INSTALMENTS DUE IN

NOVEMBER

On November 1 thero will fall due an instalment (ss) of the general unemployment levy of 20s per annum, and also the third instalment of the emergency unemployment charge of one penny in each amount of Is 8d (la in the £) of income other than salary or wages derived during the year ended March 31, 1933. Prompt payment of these taxes is essential in the interests of the unemployed, because the provision of work for them depends upon the funds thus derived.
