In the captain's foursome played on Saturday by the Waiwetu Club, W. T. Wilson and M. Milne, and A. E. Watkins and Miss I. Horman, net 68, tied for first place. Other cards were: —R. G. Holland and Mrs. Hatfield 09, A. Clelland and Mrs. Wilson, and R. Rhodes and Miss Lawrie, 72. :

Li the weekly bogey competition J. B. Wallace (4), and G. Hatfield (11), square, tied, and will play off. Other cards were:—R. G. Holland (7), and V. R. Stace (17), 1 down. The Winter Cup points -were: J. B. Wallace and G. Hatfield, 3; R. G. Holland and V. R. Stace, 1 each. Competition for this cup will cease next weekend.

D. M. Burns and G. Hatfield, 4 up, won the fourball bogey. Next were: —N. J. Sherwood and J. B. Wallace, 3 up; Mrs. Hatfield and Mrs. Wilson, D. Johnston and J. J. Garbett, L. D. Matthewe and-J. Jackson, 1 up.

In; the semi-final of the senior-junior foursome championship, J. A. McKay and A. Stunncll beat W. T. Wilson-and T. J. Harvey, 4 and 2, and N. O. Maitland and W. Ross beat R. G. Holland and W. P. Gill. 4 and 3. On Sunday afternoon next a match, ladies and men, will be played by teams selected by the captain and secretary.
