Mr. and Mrs. J. Marchbanks, Heretaunga, who have spent the past year in England, returned home «n Saturday. Mrs. C. M. Butlin, wife of Commander Butlin, R.N., of H.M.A.S. Canberra, who'Mias been visiting Wellington, returned to Sydney by tho Wanganella on Saturday. Mrs. John Duncaa, Heretaunga, will leave tomorrow by car for To Kuiti, where she will stay with Mrs. John Bolleston. Later she will visit her mother, Mrs. Percy Baldwin, Palmerston North. Mrs. A. A. McDonald, who has been with her daughter, Mrs. L. H. Hunt, Karori, has left for Christchurch, where she will visit her sou, Mr. Douglas McDonald, Fendalton. Mrs. J. Marshall McKenzie, Taumarunui, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Beagley, Hataitai. Mrs. Arthur Morris, Napier, is visiting her parents, Mr. stud Mrs. J. March - banks, Heretaunga. Airs. J. D. Blundell, New Plymouth, left , Wellington on Saturday by the W'auganeHa for Sydney. Mrs. W. ft. Marshall-A'Dcanc, wife of Flag-Lieutonant-Commander Marshall A'Deane, R.N., H.M.A.S. _ Canberra, who has been visiting Wellington, returned to Sydney by the Wauganella-on Saturday.. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Harley, Greymouth, will arrive in Wellington tomorrow morning for a visit. v _ Mrs. Leo Casey and Miss Margaret Gasey, Mount Albeit, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. P. W. Fairclough, Christchurch, is staying with her daughter,, Mrs. T. McKibbin, Wellington. Mrs. Stuart Glendining, Dunedin, and her Bniall daughter, are the guests of Mrs. Glendining's parents at Wadestown. Miss Martin, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Sydney Dransfield, Auckland, has returned to Wellington, and is staying at Sayes Court. Miss Margaret Butler (formerly of New Zealand), whoso sculpture is so well known on the Continent, recently held an exhibition in Paris (states "The Post's" London representative). New Zealanders look forward to attending the exhibition which (Miss Butler hopes to hold in London in the autumn. The most eminent art critics in France have always been very appreciative of her work; Among the guests at the Hotel. St. George are Miss E. M. Barber (Christchurch), Mrs. P. A. Taylor (Sydney), and Mrs. L. Shilson and Miss M. Shilson (Auckland). Mrs. C. R. Chapman fDunedin) and Miss K. MacFarlane (Sydney) are staying at the Koyal Oak Hotel. . Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Wilton, of Rhnu Road, Kelburn, left Wellington yesterday for Auckland, where they will catch the Monowai for Sydney. They expect to remain, in Australia for some weeks. ' .
