ABUSES OF THE SCHEME

CHBISTCHUBCH, This Day. The Unemployment Board has found that definite abuses of the building subsidy scheme have been made, and it is probable that remedial steps will have to be taken. An announcement to this effect was made today by Mr. J. S. Jcssop, deputy chairman of the board. .
