Stallworthy (Independent, Eden) asked the Prime Minister whether his attention, had been drawn to the statement made by Mr. Justice Heed, in association with Mr. Justice MacGregor and Mr. Justice Smith, as reported in the Press, that as a result of the vacancy on the

Bench, it was improbable that fixtures could be made for waiting cases, and ;that possibly in some instances this might result in a denial of justice. The Prime Minister (tho Et. Hon. G. W. Forbes) stated that the matter •was now receiving the consideration <if the Government.
