MONDAY'S WRESTLING
Patrons of wrestling were delighted with the display given last Monday by Harry Maraos and Hal Rumberg—it was one of the best exhibitions of honest, clever wrestling seen here for some time. For next Monday the Wellington Wrestling Association has arranged a match which should be every bit as good—if not even better—the contestants to be George Walker and Hal Riiraberg. It is anticipated that this match will attract some- . thiug near a record attendance, and for the occasion the association ■ has engaged the Winter Show Stadium. Arrangements also have been made for the match to be broadcast from station 2YA by a special Auckland announcer. Rumberg showed in his display on Monday that he is a wrestler of class—strong, heavy, and yet quick on his feet, and with a wide knowledge of the game. It would appear, on paper, that Walker's only great advantage may be in his long and varied experience of the ling, for there is no doubt that he is one of the shrewdest as well as one of the most capable wrestlers ever seen in New Zealand. The match should be an exceedingly interesting one.
