SUICIDE AT SEA

WHANGAREI, This Day. The trip of the Canberra from Sydney was marked, by a tragedy at 7 o'clock on Monday night. Francis Flanagan, yeoman of signals, a native of New South Wales, committing suicide on the- upper deck by shooting himself with a, service rifle. The deceased/who was 31 years of age, was buried at sea next morning. A Court of Inquiry will be held.
