NEW YORK, August 25. In the semi-final of the American women's singles championship at Forest Hills Miss H. Jacobs (U.S.A.) defeated Miss D. Round (Britain), 6-4, 5-7, 6-2. Miss Jacobs -meets Mrs. Wills-Moody in the final on Saturday.
