TALE OF TWO TEDDIES
I've got two teddies; one is good and the other is, oh, so naughty! Bruin, the good one, always knows his lessons, and answers ever so quickly; but Buster has to be put in the corner nearly every day. After lessons I take them out in the pram, and we go round the park. My naughty Buster always wants to stand up in the pram, and I'm so afraid he'll fall out. What do you think happened last night? I was playing in the garden with Buster and Bruin when Mummy called me in to see a visitor; and when I went back to the garden Buster had disappeared! I searched and searched, and called aud called, but I couldn't find him; and presently Nannie said, it was bedtime, and I had to go in without him. Oh,.we were so unhappy, Bruin and I! The next morning, I ran and pulled up the blind, and there, right under the window, sat Buster among the buttercups! He must have been playing with the fairies, because he looked so happy, and though I scolded him, he wouldn't say he was sorry. "MICKY DRIPPIN'" (9). Ohiro Bay.
