PICTURES FOR RELIEF WORKERS.
Arrangements have been made by. the Wellington Relief Workers' Union for a free picture entertainment next Saturday morning, September 2, for relief workers1 children. The programme will be specially arranged for children, and adults will not be permitted to attend. Arrangements have been made, however, for several relief workers to be present to care for the children so that mothers may be sure- of their safety. Accommodation will be available for 5000 children at three theatres, the Queen's, the King's, and the De Luxe. The same programme will bo shown at all three theatres. The pass for the Queen's Theatre is blue, for the King's yellow, and for the De Luxe red, and all bear the union seal. The flrst 200 children at each theatre will receive a bag of sweets free. Passes may be obtained at the union office, 114 Taranakl Street, on presentation of bureau-registration card.
