RUGBY FOOTBALL
One of the season's big events so far as intcr-elub Rugby competition is conferned is the match for the National Mutual' Cup, an event in which the championship winners are opposed by the team regarded as most worthy of a special contest with the champions. This i.s to be played at Athletic Park tomorrow afternoon, when Hutt will meet the champions, Wellington College Old Boys. It will be remembered that Hutt, who have ])cen showing splendid form, made a sen-t-ational recovery in their second-round match with Old Boys and went close to pulling (he match, which Old Boys appeared to have well in hand, out of the lire. The form of both teams has been such that a great game should be staged tomorrow, with Old Boys keen to carry oil the "double" and Hutt just as keen to reverse, the previous result of their meeting with Old Boys, Also of interest will be the early match, in which the Poneke and Petone senior A second division teams will meet, Poneke, who defeated University last Saturday, having to win this match to be assured of the Hocond division championship. For Rugby's following the. afternoon at the Park should be well worth while.
