Torrential rains throughout.the night caused another day's postponement of tho United States national tennis championships at Longwood, Brookline, and Forest Hills. In the doubles championships additional results to those already published follow:— Shields and Parker defeated S. P. Young and D. S. Freshwater (Britain), 6-0, (3-8, 8-6, 4-6, 7-5. Vinos and Gledhill defeated Grant and Makrath, 6-2, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4. Allison and Van Eyn defeated Washburn and McPherson" (New York), 6-2, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.
