AMATEUR RULE VIOLATION
NO BASIS FOR CHARGE

The Amateur Rules Committee of the United States Lawn Tennis Association on Thursday announced that its investigation into the status of Ellsworth Vines had revealed no basis for tho charge that he had violated the amateur rule. .
