TASMANIAN IMPORTATION

TJrightstbne, whose name appears among' the acceptors for the Hawke's Bay Hunt Cup Steeplechase at Hastings tomorrow, has very little to recommend him in the way of past performance, but, despite the fact that he is now twelve years old, his presence has some interest as he is an. importation from Tasmania.

He is one of the horses imported late in 1929 by Mr. J. J. Gatenby, of Hastings, and apparently he ia still owned by Mr. Gatenby. Two years ago he ran in the Hawke's Bay Hunt Cup Steeples, but as far as can be ascertained that is the only time he has carried racing colours in public. He is given as a bay gelding by Topaz (son of Terrapin) from a. Karana mare, and that is about all that is known about him*
