Mr. and 3lrs. Francis tie Stncpoolo, Tiikapuna, aro the guests .of Mr. and Mrs. D. 11. S. Ricldiford, "Longwood," Fcatherston, for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. T. Young, who since their arrival from Melbourne last month, have been staying with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Young, Central Terrace, have taken a house in Karori. Mrs. Bryan Todd, Molesworth Street, left Wellington last evening for Christchurch, where she will pay a brief visit to her mother, Mrs. David Buddo. Mrs. Herbert, England, who has been spending a few days at the Midland Hotel, left today for Napier. Sho will return to England at tho beginning of next year. Miss Melicent Grose, Wadestown, has left by car for Rotorua, and will return to Wellington next week. Mrs, H. R. Fisher, Karori, is visiting Masterton, where she was to address tho Kanfurly Club this afternoon. She expects to return to Wellington tomorrow evening. Mrs. G. J. Morrall, New Plymouth, is spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. T. M. Bourlce and Miss Bourke, Wellington, who have been staying with Dr. .-md Mrs. H. T. J. Thacker, Christchurch, have returned north. Miss Dorothy McLeod, Wellington, is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. McLeod, St. Albans, Christehureh. Mrs. Oscar Green is a Wellington visitor to New Plymouth, where she is staying with, her mother, Mrs. O'Brien. Mrs. F. W. Goldfinch ana Miss M. K. Goldfinch aic Wellington visitors to Auckland. Mrs, Guy Connal and her small son, accompanied by Miss N, Brown (Martinborough), are spending a brief holiday in Hastings and Napier. Mrs. Bellinghani, who has been the guest of Mrs. R. Cunningham, StaveT ley, will return to Wellington tomorrow morning with Mr. Bellingham, who will teavo for England. Miss Miriel Small, Wellington, 5s staying -with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Small, Hastings. Mrs. F. T. Corfcj.ll and Miss Mojia Corkill, New Plymouth, are visiting Wellington. Miss Cicely Greatbatch, New Plymouth, is visiting her sister, Mrs. G. Mace, Wellington. Miss Queenie Gibson, New Plymouth, will leave tomorrow for Wanganui and Wellington. Miss Lawrence, Wellington, is visiting Napier. Mrs. Barran, Havelock North, who has boon staying at Sayes Court, Wellington, has returned to her home. Miss Beatrice Jones, Wellington, is visiting Mrs. C. Smart, New Plymouth. Mrs. Gerald Rosenbauni, Wellington, is paying a visit to Auckland. Miss Quecnio Boussell, M.A., who has been the gucsfc of Mrs. Louis Hay, Napier, has returned to her home in Kelburn. Misses M. and D. Monro, Blenheim, are among the guests at tho Koyal Oak Hotel. Mrs. J. Edmonds, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. W. Richmond, Hastings, is paying a visit to Wellington. Mrs. E. H. Dunn, Napier, is spending a fortnight's holiday in Wellington. Miss Anne Hare, Wellington, left Auckland yesterday by the s.s. Tainui for England. Mrs. H. Harris, Christchurch, is among the 'guests at the Hotel St. George. There was a large congregation at the service held yesterday morning in St. Andrew's Church, in memory of the lajte Mrs. Alexander Low, of Koscnoath, who was well known, and respected for her support of church and charitable societies. The Eev. B. Inglis made eulogistic reference to tho late Mrs. Low's support of the church at Koseneath and of her work in connection with the Bible Society, the Presbyterian Orphanages, and the Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union. She had* been also an enthusiastic worker for Dr. Barnardo's Homes, the Women's National Eeserve, and the Mothers' League, and her support would be greatly missed by these societies. .
