MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Police and summons cases were dealt ■with at. file Magistrate's Court today by Sir. E. Pago, S.M. -One first offender for drunkenness was convicted and discharged. Found asleep over the wheel of a motoroar outside the Mayfair Cabaret, Raymond .Tames Lynch, aged 24, pleaded guilty to being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. He was fined £10, and a further 10s for not having a driver's licence. A fine of £5 was imposed on Clarence Le Scur for receiving an order for six dozen of beer in a no-liceuce district. W. Burge, E. Lyall, and C. Wallace were each ordered to pay the costs, 10s, for behaving in a disorderly manner in Manners Street. The defendants, who were ill company with two young ladies, Knocked over and kicked a number of rubbish tins. For selling goods on Sunday, Isobell Kussel! and Helena GrounseH were each lined 10s, and for aiding, abetting, counselling, or procuring the commission of such an offence Alfred P. Truda was lined £1. The theft of a bottle of milk from a ■delivery lorry in Broadway, Miramar, was admitted by Benedict Waring. He was fined £2. A fine of .-03 was imposed on Thomas Hudson for obstructing Constable Wood in the execution of his duty. On charges of failing to take out radio licences the following were lined:—Clifford" C. Bomietfc £2, William Venn and John Paino £1, Leonard J. Gray JOs, and Lionel A. Heath and Austin Xicholls were each ordered to pay the costs-, 10s. Arthur Wilkins was ordered to pay the costs, 10s, for cycling without lights.
