EMPIRE ECONOMICS

LACK OF CO-OPERATION

F. 8.1. AND T.U.C. JOINT NOTE

LONDON, July 13,

The Federation of British Industries and the Trades Union Congress have jointly written to the Prime Minister, Mr. J. Bamsay Mac Donald, regretting the lack of progress in inter-Imperial economic co-operation; urging the creation of an organisation to study Imperial questions, and problems for Imperial conferences; also recording progress between conferences in order to give effect to the decisions reached. The letter advocated a reconsideration of the abolition of the Marketing Board.
