INSTITUTE'S SUCCESS
Victory Cup matches were played on Saturday by first B division teams. N.A.D.A. were not extended, and defeated Rovers by five goais to nil, and Institute Old Boys had a runaway victory over Island Bay. Stop Out and Seatoun also had wins. ' Institute met Island Bay at. Wakefield Park. Institute were not long in settling down, play being marked by fast, clean footwork. R. Sutherland opened Institute's account with a good goal. After a period of dull play Island. Bay scored twice. Mason and Hepburn netting. Just before the interval .Sutherland again scored for Institute, and at half-time the teams were 2-alI. The second spell started off at a fast pace and Institute struck form, dominating play from then on. Four goals were registered in al^out five minutes, and at the final whistle Institute were six points ahead of their opponents. Sutherland. Turner (2), Bartlett, Willis, ami Johnstone scored in tho second half. The game was fast and clean throughout and was played in the best. of spirit.
