Technical battled hard and eventually Beedle got the ball away. Liddicoat received and transferred to Webster, who scored from close in with a snap-shot that beat Turkington badly. Marist came down the field and.play was concentrated in Technical' territory. Lyons then' lost an excellent chance to score when he miskicked, and Kershaw, was. unfortunate when a hard, shot rebounded from the goal-post and was cleared. Marist then caught the defence napping. Kershaw ■, crossed to J. Condon, who had followed up well, and the latter made no mistake. M. Condon missed scoring a few moments later. Bad play in the forwards continued to upset Marist's chances after the interval, Lyons failing to connect with a good centre from Marshment, and M. Condon miskicking. Marist -continued to attack, but could not break through the Technical defence, their own mistakes and Ogg's sound work in goal preventing a score.
