■ CHICAGO, April 15. Jerome Factor, aged 17, son. of John ("Jake the Barber"), is held for 100,000 dollars ransom, according to a police statement. The elder Factor is awaiting the outcome of an appeal to the United States Supreme Court from an order extraditing ■ him to England on charges of swindling the British investors of 8,000,000 dollars. The police reported that young Factor was abducted on Wednesday night as he was about to enter his home, where he was living ■with his mother, who was divorced from the elder Factor, several years ago. The father received the ransom note on Friday, demanding 50,000 dollars. , A second note he received later raising the amount to 100,000 dollars. The first letter contained a threat to send the youth home in pieces unless the demands were complied with.
