HORSES ON FARMS
RETURN IN AUSTRALIA
SYDNEY, April 16. Country visitors to the Koyal Show declare that horses are coming into their own again. Prices are1 constantly rising. This fact was emphasised at today's sales of Clydesdale stallions, when a record of 530 guineas was paid for Canmore, the champion Clydesdale of this year's show. The vendors were the Moore • and Hunter Estate, of • Hawera, New Zealand. . . ■ . At no time during the sale by one firm of auctioneers did the price fall below 100 guineas. One breeder obtained 1020 guineas for five draught horses.
