Tho Wellington Centre of the Kew Zealand Bed Cross Society has arranged a picnic for the blind on April 5. It will take place at Day's Bay and it is expected that about 60 blind people from Wellington will comprise tho party. They will be taken in ears tn the bay, the older people being picked up at their homes, and the others assembling at the Eed Cross headquarters in Di.xon Street. Pour cars have been offered for transport, lmt at least a dozen are needed, and the secretary of the society (Mr. M. S. Galloway) solicits offers of cars. '
