Taking advantage of the fact that the :Sew Zealand Naval Squadron will be at lull strength in Wellington, arrangements nave been made for a match between the pick of -the squadroa and the Wellington First A-Dnision representatives at .the Ivilbirnio Stadium on Saturday. The squadron team will be- of greater strength than has been fielded previously, and the occasion is most appropriate in view of the North,v. South Island game on Easter giturday, and the proposed match between Wellington and Auckland for the "Frank Campbell" Rose Bowl-on Easter Monday. Wellington- players selected will also liave "the advantage of having been training for - the past few weeks in view of the Easter matches The Wellington team selected by the fiole selector, Mr. W. B. Hicks, for the match is, as follows:—P. Turkington (iiarist), goalkeeper; A. W. Riddolls (Petone), right full-back; S. Haines (Petone), left full-back; J. McLeod (Diamond), right half-back; -J. Campbell (Petone). centre-half; A. Cummin^s (Waterside), left half: W. Nicollo (Lower Hutt), right wing; M.' Condon (Marist), inside light- A. McLeod (Waterside), centre-forward; ,J. Keisha-w (Mari&t), inside left; and'D. Craig fPctone), left wing. The reserves are P. McVean (goal), Jeffery and Baker (forwards). A. further match against the H.M.S. Dunedin.-will be held on Saturday, April 8, and the teams will be-announced later.
