EXPECTED CRITICISM
ACTION FORESTALLED
LONDON, March. 27. According to a forecast of the debata Mr. "Winston Churchill will lead :a vigorous attack on the whole plan on behalf of a Conservative group laiown as the India Defence Committee, but the terms of the Government motion will prevent him carrying out his'plan to lead fifty Conservatives into the lobbies against the Government.
The motion has taken Mr. Churchill's group by surprise, as it only seeks ap-proval-of the appointment of a select committee from both Houses to report upon the plan, not immediate approval of the scheme itself.
. Labour's criticism will be on the ground that the proposed , autonomy does not go far enough. The "Daily Telegraph's" lobby cor* respondent forecasts that the Government will have an impressive majority; if challenged on a division on Wednes*' day.
