ASSUMED MOTIVE

CALCUTTA, March 27.

A bomb exploded last night in a Bombay cinema, injuring an Italian confectioner. It was dropped from the balcony after the playing of the National Anthem.

It is believed that the incident is associated with an attempted celebration of the anniversary of the execution of a notorious terrorist murderer, Bhagat Singh.
