TOKIO, March 27.

. A plenary session of the Privy Council this morning, in the presence of the Emperor, unanimously approved Japan's resignation from the League ; of Nations. The decision will be cabled to the Secre-tary-General of the League this afternoon.

The Prime Minister will then make a proclamation, and the Emperor will issue a decree to the nation.
