A CHANGE OF VENUE
The Northland Trotting Club has completed arrangements with the Cambridge Trotting Club to hold its meeting on the Cambridge course on May 8, immediately following the Cambridge Club's Meeting on May 6. This step has been rendered necessary owing to the Northland Club's isolation and its limited resources.
At a meeting of the executive of the Northland Trotting Club last week, the chairman, Mr. H. W. Crawford, stated that, taking everything into consideration., it was not thought advisable at present to take the risk of a one-day meeting in. Whangarei when it was possible to have a meeting at Cambridge jointly with that club. All efforts to conduct the neSt meeting on other courses had proved unavailing until the. Cambridge Club gave ita consent.- . >
