CALCUTTA, March 26,

' A mud volcano at Kareening Point, near Kyaukpyu, Burma, burst into flames caused by tho ignition of petroleum fumes. The blaze- rose three hundred feet in tho air, lighting an area many square miles in extent. No lava is flowing. The volcano has taken afire only tw'ico in living memory.
