NAZI ATROCITIES

GOERING DENIES STORIES

NO DISCRIMINATION

BERLIN, March 25. The Minister in charge of the police (Captain Goering) assured foreign Press representatives that the Government would not discriminate against Jews or interfere with their liberty. He denied stories of Nazi atrocities, though he admitted that there were cases of individual action which the Government was determined to check.

Captain Goering conducted tho journalists through a prison, allowing them to see and talk to Communist loaders who had been reported dead and mutilated.

At Frankfort the police prohibited the kosher killing of - cattle because "animals born in Germany must not be slaughtered in agony by Asiatic methods. If Jews cannot eat our meat, the profiteers can eat turnips and potatoes as Germans did in war-time."
