"The. Times" Riga correspondent says that the Soviet has ordered the industrial centres psychologically to prepare the populace for the Vickcrs trial, declaring that the Government will not brook foreign interference. All discovered wreckers will be tried regardless of uationaTfty before a class tribunal. .
The statement attacks the British "die-hards," particularly the Press, as mobilised by shareholders of robber companies to slander the Soviet and help tho culprits to evade the law. The Court's pronouncement should be awaited. Proof of the charges against the engineers entails death or banishment and confiscation of belongings or solitary confinement with forced labour for three years, accompanied by confiscation.
