MIRAMAR CLUB

The golf Eeason was .officially opened at Miramar on Saturday with a large field from practically every club in the district, mixed foursomes being played by 72 couples. The conditions were ideal.

. The winners were Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Ward, with the score of 4 up. Other scores were: H. E. Aplin and Mrs. Marsden, 3 up; G. S. Roes and Miss Fair, 3 up; C. B. Press and Miss Press (Shandon), 2 up; H. H. McLean and Mrs. Ancell, 1 up; H. H. Robinson and Miss Stevens, 1 up; Byron Mills and Miss Jacobson, 1 up; A. Marsden and Mrs. Farr, all square.
