The quality was not of the highest, but buyers operated freely. Fat lambs, primest offered, to 12s 6d; prime, 12s; good quality, 11s to Us 9d; fair-medium, _10s lOd; poor, from 8s lOd. Fat ewes, prime heavy, 6s Id to 6s 2d; very good, 6s; medium, ss. 3d to 5s lOd. No wethers were offering. Heavy yarding. Store Sheep.—A good demand for lambs, but the market for breeding, ewes, was easier. Good ewe lambs made 9s Id; medium, 8s 6d; backward from 8s; blackface lambs, good, 8s lOd for good sorts; others from 7s Id to: Bs, with cull lines 5s 6d; wether lambs, woolly, Bs-4d to 8s sd; shorn, 7s Id to 8s; m.s. lambs, 7s 2d to 7s 6d; two-tooth wethers, "8s lid; twotooth ewes; R.W.SiD. rams, 9s 7d; fourtooth ditto, 7s 9d to 8s sd; four.and sixtooth ditto, 8s sd; six-tooth ditto, 9s 7d; four-year ditto, 6s to 7s 8d; five-year ditto, 7s 3d; five-year ewes, 4s Id to 4s 3d; forward wethers; 9s -6d to- 10s; S.D. rams, %g to l%gs. • ;.
