LATEST TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS
Passengers who left Wellington by the Limited express last night will arrive in Auckland at 7 o'clock tonight and the Monowai is being delayed to enable intending travellers by her to make the connection. Travellers by last night's Limited from Auckland are expected to arrive in Wellington at 11 o'clock tonight.
The Limited express is being run from both Auckland and Wellington tonight, but the Railway Department advises that passengers will have to make their own arrangements for transport between Kakahi and Taumarunui, a distance of about ten miles. A motor service is available. It is anticipated that tonight's Limited will arrive in Auckland about one hour and a half late, and the train from Auckland should reach Wellington about 1 p.m. tomorrow..
At 2.30 p.m. the Railway Department advised that the ordinary expresses between Wellington and Auckland will bo cancelled until further notice, but that the Limited expresses will continue to' run, making stops similar to those of the ordinary expresses.
