FIRE AT NELSON
SAMPLE ROOMS GUTTED
(By Telegraph.—Press-Association.) ; ;'•" NELSON, This Day. A fire at 11.20. o'clock last, night gutted a sample room owned by Grant Bros, and occupied by J. Little, representative of a number, of firms, iricluding the Wanganui Woollen Mills, Albert Woolley, Ltd.,. Auckland, Blair and Kent, Ltd.,, Auckland, C.- H. Halford, .Ltd., Auckland, arid ' Gollih and Company, Pty., Ltd., Wellington. The stock; valued at approximately £800, was destroyed. The building was insured for £700 in the South British Office. . Sairiple stocks of D. Hayman and Company, Dunedin, were damaged by water. • ; . The outbreak had a strong hold when the alarm was giyen. The brigade made a splendid save.
