METHODIST CONFERENCE
A number of Methodist ministers from various parts of the South Island arrived in Wellington this morning en route for Auckland, where the annual Methodist Conference is tp.be.held. The conference, which is to last ten days, will open next Thursday. : The following ministers and their wives arrived today: The Rev. and Mrs. Lawry and the Rev. and Mrs. Peat (Timaru), the Rev. and Mrs. Rowe; the Rev. and Mrs. Blight, the Rev. Mr. Ashcroft (Oamaru), the Rev. A. P. Perm (Invercargill), the Rev. H. Ryan (Dunedin), the Rev. E. Drake, the Rev. L. B. Ncale (Dtmcdiu), and the Rev. 1? Greenwood. The Revs. T. R. Richards, W. Bramwell Scott, and F. E. Leadley are among those who will, represent Wellington at the conference. . ',
