VISITORS AT AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, February 12. Keen competition between visiting riders and A. Mattson, the Dominion champion, created interest at the Western Springs Speedway last evening. In one event Mattson, after being left behind at the start, defeated two of the overseas men, N. Key and E. Gregory, covering a mile in 78 3-ssec. •The world's champion, E. Langton, defeated W. Phillips, also of England, in two out of three special matches. Detailed results are as follows:— : "■ Big Six Championship.—X. -Key, 1; A Mattson, 2. Time, lmin ISsee Match for Two Fastest Men.—T.
