IN THREE WEEKS' TIME

In the opinion of the Prime Ministe* (the Bight. Hon. G. "W. Forbes), th& present session of Parliament will end in about three weeks' time. ■

Next week will be devoted to the second reading of the Sales Tax Bill, and by the time that the second leading is concluded it is anticipated that interested parties will have made representations concerning exemptions. If any change is 'to be made in ths list, these will be made during the Committee stages of the Bill. ■

•The Prime Minister stated to-day that a taxing Bill and a Customs amendment, ratifying the resolutions, passed on Wednesday night, will also be introduced during the coming weeb.
