RECORD NET SURPLUS
LOSS ON TELEGRAPHS
LONDON, 9th February. The net Post Office surplus for 1931----32 is the largest recorded—£lo.63l,794. The surplus is mainly duo to the postal services. Telegraphs lost £809,754, but the telephones made a profit o£ £571,848.
