TWO MEN SENTENCED

(By. Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This D,ay. Leslie John "Walding, by occupation a hawker, and Claud Harold, Miller, a fruiterer, were sentenced to-day for assault causing bodily harm. His Honour, Mr. Justice Herdman, said that the accused knocked down a man in a city park at night, attempted to Tob him and assaulted him. That sort of conduct must be stopped. Walding, who had a criminal record, was sentenced to three years hard labour, and Miller to two years reformative detention.
