FIRE IN 40 BELOW WEATHER

PRAIRIE HOTEL BURNT

(Received 9th February, 3 p.m.) VANCOUVER, Bth February. ' At Tisdale, Saskatchewan, seven persons were burned to death and five others seriously injured," one probably fatally, as the result of a fire which destroyed the Imperial Hotel early on Wednesday in 40 below zero weather. Many escaped through windows. The dead are: Mrs. C. Couture and her three daughters, Fraeer Page, J. C. Marsh, and Emma Eaz, a maid. Sandy McPherson, the manager, is critically injured.
